Micro-update, because.

lunadelcorvoSitting in the student center between classes. Classes are going well so far - the American Christianity is good, because I've done it before and can improve it from last year. Utopia is tougher, because I never know how much they will talk, or where they will go when they do, but I'm getting the hang of it. It helps that we are not into 1984, which I adore!
Looking at other PhD options. I'm kind of wondering if I want to put myself back in that race, but the race part I never minded - I sort of thrived on it actually. Long commutes on the other hand - blech. I wonder if my motivation would stand the challenge if I had to drive an hour or so each way.....
And niblet is having a heck of a time in 5th grade. Actually, that's not quite true - he's having a heck of a time with one teacher in 5th grade. Honestly, this woman is making me nuts! No response, unclear instructions, won't return my calls or e-mails - grrrrr. But he's managing - I told him if he does well inn her classes, he's ready for college tomorrow! But I hate to see him discouraged so early in the year.
The cat is crazy. But, then, all cats are out of their fuzzy little minds, so this should not be a surprise. Still, this one adds a creative flair to his nuttiness that is sometimes amusing, but other quite infuriating.... But isn't that a cat's job in life?
Ack. Must go teach. But first: PIE! Random post is random!

Hope she comes around - maybe she's the kind that just needs to be told off once?
I've been joking and calling Sassenach Satan and Beelzebub. But I need to stop because he's RESPONDING to it. I'll say "Heeeere Satan!" and he'll come running and meowing in his best "How may I help you?" attitude. He's currently mad at me because I won't cuddle at the second. Too hot.
