I really don't know how you can say Obama will mean higher taxes. He's lowered taxes. All Romney will do is shift the burden of his "cuts" (assuming we'd ever see them) onto states, and you better believe states will either hike the hell out of their own taxes, or appeal to the federal government for help anyway.

He's also stated flat-out that he has no intention of addressing Global CLimate Change, so we'll be seeing more like Sandy. Of course, Romney wants to defund FEMA . Once again, either state-level tax hikes, or federal assistance - which Romney can't pay for.

Good government requires spending - shit ain't free, and shifting the cost to someone else doesn't make it free. And who do you really think will foot the bill under Romney? (Here's a hint - it won't be the wealthy, or the super-corporations!) I'm sorry you feel you want to 'waste your vote,' but if Romney wins, I hope you won't be complaining.

Things I need to remember:
• Asking for help is not, as it turns out, fatal.
• Laughing is easier than pulling your hair out, and doesn't have the unfortunate side effect of making you look like a plague victim.
• Even the biggest tasks can be defeated if taken a bit at a time.
• I can write a paper the night before it's due, but the results are not all they could be.
• Be thorough, but focused.
• Trust yourself.
• Honesty, always.
