Hey, some of you may have noticed I have been cross-posting to a DW account. I'm not leaving here; there's so many people and communities here I am not going to give up! And there are still things I can do on LJ that I can't on DW (some of them doubtless because I haven't figured out how yet. But I digress) Anyway - I have been posting there and cross-posting to here because I can't do it the other way, but I spend more time here.

Nevertheless, if any of you are on DW, please comment here and let me know, so I can add you there as well. (I'll leave this screened, just in case, for whatever.)

Things I need to remember:
• Asking for help is not, as it turns out, fatal.
• Laughing is easier than pulling your hair out, and doesn't have the unfortunate side effect of making you look like a plague victim.
• Even the biggest tasks can be defeated if taken a bit at a time.
• I can write a paper the night before it's due, but the results are not all they could be.
• Be thorough, but focused.
• Trust yourself.
• Honesty, always.
