The demon-God part is cracking me up. You're talking about your own God, sir!

I'm not really sure whether to laugh or cry.

Eh both sound good.

Be careful what you eat! You might turn spontaneously Muslim! Just like rubbing elbows with homosexuals makes you gay!

I believe that they would have a very hard time rounding up every blessed cow, chicken, pig, lamb, goat, bi-product, fruit, veggie, grain, nut, junk food, juice, coffee, tea, and bottle of water in the country in order to Christianize or "protect" it from the evils of other religions' dietary restrictions. Still...sheesh. Maybe Pagans should start claiming Twinkies. What do you think? **giggle**

huh?

What's freaking hilarious is that if the good pastor read his New Testament, he'd find that the Apostle Paul personally believed that the eating of meat sacrificed in other temples was not wrong (I Cor 8). Paul said it was only wrong for those "weak" in their faith. Ha!

This... boggles the mind.

If I were to say a Christian prayer over a chicken as I kill it then take that chicken and bake it and feed it to you...

WHAT DOES IT MATTER? It's not like you're going to be infected with that Christian prayer because you ate it?

If other religions believe that food has to be processed a certain way before they can eat it, let them believe that... and for freak's sake, let someone process the food that way so that they have food that they can eat. It doesn't affect you unless you believe what they believe. It's just food.

We pray over our food before we eat. We do it whether we are dining with fellow Christians or not. I really don't see the issue. I wouldn't put up a stink if I was dining with someone from another religion and they did the same.

Isn't that BASICALLY the same thing?

IDK. I think I'm far too annoyed over something this stupid.

LOVE ONE ANOTHER, PEOPLE! It's not that difficult.
